CHILDREN
Children under the age of 16 (including babies and toddlers) are NOT permitted in the hall at any time during build-up or breakdown. The hall is a building site and can be hazardous during these times. This is a requirement of the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and also applies to exhibitors’ children.
This ruling is in place to protect children’s safety and no exceptions can be made to this. Nor are they to be left in vehicles in the surrounding areas.
CLEANING
The hall is cleaned each evening including basic stand cleaning. Any rubbish is to be placed into the aisles at the end of each show day, please ensure that there is no excessive waste within your stand or surrounding area as excessive waste removal caused on the build, open or breakdown will be charged for.
Please ensure that all stand items and materials are removed at the end of the tenancy. A charge will be incurred for any items left within the halls.
Should you wish to book upgraded stand cleaning you can do so here: https://www.excel.london/webshop
COURIERS
It is highly recommended to use EFM Global to delivery your stand materials and products to site.
Deliveries will not be accepted outside the tenancy times specified in the event timetable. Couriers should follow these directions:
Excel is accessed only via Royal Albert Way. Any vehicles approaching the site from the A13 /A406 Beckton Roundabout, should exit onto the A1020 Royal Docks Road, until Gallions Roundabout. Take the fourth exit onto Royal Albert Way and continue westbound along Royal Albert Way until the Excel London Roundabout. Vehicles should then go down Sandstone Lane and into the traffic marshalling area, to await further instructions from the Excel traffic team.
There is no access for event vehicles via Seagull Lane. All event traffic should use the route detailed above.
When the courier arrives, they will be instructed to go to a waiting area where a representative from the exhibiting company must meet them to receive the goods.
If no one from the exhibitor team is available, please make arrangements for EFM Global (details on the contractors page of the manual) to receive the goods on your behalf - details can be found in the contacts section of this manual. Neither Excel nor the organiser will accept goods on your behalf.
It is not necessary for couriers to pre-book a delivery / collection slot.
